Amanda Davidson

Operations Manager

WD Potato Limited

Amanda Davidson is a third-generation leader at W.D. Potato Limited, a family-owned potato storage, handling, and trucking operation founded by her grandparents in Beeton, Ontario.

Her grandfather, Walter, was a recipient of the prestigious World Potato Congress Industry Award, recognizing his significant contribution and leadership within the global potato sector. His commitment to integrity, innovation, and strong grower partnerships laid the foundation for what W.D. Potato Limited is today.

Raised in the business, Amanda learned firsthand from her grandparents the values of resilience, accountability, and community. She now plays a key leadership role in operations, logistics, and grower relations, expanding and modernizing the company while honouring the legacy Walter established.

Amanda is actively involved in Next Gen leadership initiatives, Women in Agriculture networks, and industry events involving both potatoes and the logistic side of things. She is passionate about bridging generational knowledge with innovation to strengthen supply chains and ensure a sustainable future for the potato industry.

As a proud third-generation steward, Amanda is committed to carrying forward her grandfather’s vision while building the next chapter of growth for W.D. Potato Limited.
